I will be traveling from San Francisco to Estonia for the first time ever on May 4th is search of knitting and yarn inspiration from Tallin. I am from San Francisco, studied art and design in New York City and I’m taking a holiday from my work to explore Icelandic and Baltic craft cultures for a few months.

I would love to know if you have any suggestions for locations, museums, workshops, events, craftsmen and women I should see in Estonia on my journey. People and places that will help inform me about Estonian crafts and techniques with a focus on knitting in particular.

I look forward to hearing from you, and hope this finds you well! Happy Spring!

Ava
avaherceg@gmail.comorella mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05542795441350171215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717610894419199576.post-17371877234265895662013-08-23T06:10:00.576-07:002013-08-23T06:10:00.576-07:00The sock/mitten tree--makes me drool. I only dream of traveling to Estonia/Latvia some day. I have cousins living still in Riga--wish to do a yarn shop/museum tour. Till then, I live vicariously through the adventures of others. THANKS so much for the pictures--beautiful!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14491937167473908889noreply@blogger.com
